The branding concept fuses fixed and organic elements to reflect that theme. The fixed pieces are related to the physical locations of each of the department’s studio spaces—a pentagram for sculpture on the fifth floor, a square for graphic design on the fourth floor, and a triangle for painting on the third floor. These locations are anchors that help delineate the three different programs and their shows. The static information about the exhibitions were related to these shapes and printed in black and white across the branded materials.
